Text AreaText Area - Verify any settings
Verify any settings already entered by your email application and enter any which are blank.

The settings for canadasurfs.ca accounts are as follows:

Incoming server (POP3) – pop3.canadasurfs.com
Outgoing server (SMTP) – smtp.canadasurfs.com
User Name – Full email address, in this case customer@canadasurfs.ca.
Password – Same as webmail password.
If these settings do not work for your application (ie IPad) use the following:
Incoming server (POP3) – rpop.siscanada.ca
Outgoing server (SMTP) – rsmtp.siscanada.ca
User Name – Full email address, in this case customer@canadasurfs.ca.
Password – Same as webmail password.

See our Webmail document for instructions to change an existing password or recover a forgotten one.

If a Test button is available, click it to verify email is working correctly.

If a test button is not available, sending an email to yourself (i.e. from customer@canadasurfs.ca to customer@canadasurfs.ca) is an excellent way to verify your email is both sending and being received.

Usually, after sending, the application must be prompted to receive email, in this case selecting Tools->Send/Receive->Send/Receive All.  Once all information is entered, press Next to create the account.
